This proverb means that leadership is the root cause of an organizations failing. It’s common knowledge that leadership is very important. It is a heavy responsibility to guide people in an organization or at home. When the leadership is not in order, or is corrupt the people under that leadership will suffer and will fall. This is a nod to all the leaders in the workplace and at home, lead with wisdom or risk a rotten result!
